The Early Years must be ACTIVE Years

by zoefullen on April 27, 2010

This morning on CanadaAM a story caught my attention that was rather frightening. Active Healthy Kids Canada reports that less than half of kids under five are getting regular physical activity. Sometimes it takes reports like these ones remind us that  we need to be healthy happy families together more often. at Fitterfirst we offer a wide variety of products that encourage children to be active, healthy, well rounded individuals. These products help to build balance, stability, and functional movement while children play. Physical development for young children isn’t the only benefit of having lots of active play, but it encourages important cognitive and social development that will help them long beyond their toddler years. I would like to announce the addition of “Family Fitness” section to The Balance Blog. Here you will find interesting articles, tips, and general info on leading an active life with your children.  I would also like to remind parents of the Government of Canada’s Children Fitness Tax Credit…Take advantage of this and tell all parents you know!

Do you have original ways of keeping your family active?
